Why would you need a wheel built? Because they are better than machine made ones. A professionally made wheel is always stronger and more reliable. It is less likely to go out of true. It is more likely to withstand a collision.
Maybe you need a wheel with special parts. By getting a wheel custom built, you can have anything you like. Need electric to run your lights? No problem, add a dynamo hub. Do you like yellow spokes? We can do that. Hub gears? We can do that, too.
Racing wheels are a class on their own: deep section rims are best. Lightweight is also available.
Wheels start at £50, plus parts. Wheels are guaranteed for two years. If not, we will true them for free.
